3rd Edinburgh International Willem Vis Pre-Moot 2013/14

Edinburgh Law School welcomed guest teams from France, Germany, Japan, Switzerland (2) and Turkey to the 3rd Edinburgh pre-moot to the Willem Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot on 15-16 March 2014.

The performance of the teams was impressive and the keen interest of the pre-moot arbitrators giving their advice feedback and time to the students commendable. We saw arbitrators from practice, whether judges, Queen’s Counsel, international arbitrators, solicitors, advocates and barristers, as well as academics team coaches and former moot participants. They were from many different countries and thus gave a true taster and representation of the international nature of the moot, such as England, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Scotland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Uruguay and USA.
